The Company has specialized in turbomachinery controls. We serve customers in a broad range of industries including oil, gas, chemical, petrochemical, refineries. We are seeking a Sales Manager in Moscow, Russia. This individual will be responsible for achieving revenue and bookings goals, developing new markets and increasing sales through follow through with new and repeat business. Must be strategically motivated to devise, develop and direct a sales force, determine pricing and profitability and participate in direct sales and contract negotiation. Candidates must have a BSME or BSEE with 3-5+ years experience in CIS/EE markets and gas turbine, compressor or transportation industry. Advanced degree is desirable, but not necessary. Candidate must have proven knowledge and history with Russian and Ukranian gas markets, and demonstrated knowledge of Gazprom automation and structure. Solid negotiating skills and bilingual communication proficiency in both written and verbal Russian and English necessary. Essential duties and responsibilities: Organizing and participating in customer meetings Preparation of documents for presentation to customers including technical/commercial proposals, product quotations, letters and other accompanying communications, including writing or editing and word processing of correspondence including letters, memos, faxes, document transmittals Organization and administering electronic proposal archive Researching projects for reference lists Updating Opportunity information in SalesLogix and helping with database cleanup and enhancement Maintaining SalesLogix database: entering project information, details of proposal production and transmission Inputting sales quotation data into the SalesLogix database Formatting and e-mailing sales proposals Education AND/OR experience: Bachelor of Science or higher. The qualified individual will have high organizational skills, strong attention to detail, solid critical thinking skills, an established work history in an office environment working with contracts or sales proposal support, strong word processing skills and experience with electronic filing. Language skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively proofread and recognize error. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations. Fluency in English, Russian. Other Skills and Abilities Excellent verbal/oral communication skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common vocational journals, financial reports, and legal documents; ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community; ability to effectively present information to management.
